 The Advantages and Disadvantages of : Chapter 2 OTT platforms

 There are many advantages and disadvantages of OTT platforms. Nowadays people dont prefer going to the theatres and prefer watching their favorite movies and web series on OTT platforms. There are many OTT platforms like netflix, hotstar, prime video, sony liv etc. So lets start with the advantages.

Without going to the theatres watching movies and web series from the comfort of our home is the best thing a person can imagine. In cinema halls we have to pay for the ticket every time we visit them but in  OTT platforms if you take a subscription one time then you dont need to pay again and again and you can watch anything you want to watch. In theatres after a span of time the film is stopped from playing but in OTT platform after the film/web series is premiered it is never removed from the platform.


But also there are many disadvantages of OTT platforms. In OTT platforms you don't get the theatre feeling. We all miss the cheerful audience, the delicious cheese popcorn and the dolby effect. Audience is the biggest disadvantage of the OTT platforms. Their cheering on the hero's entry and whistling on  dialogues makes a different atmosphere for us.
Although nowadays watching films on OTT platform is our only solution because it is not completely safe to go outside.
